The team at Michelle Durpetti Events has been busy preparing for our upcoming re-launch event on Thursday, July 15, 2010, An Evening in Eden.”  (The event will be held at Gallaria Marchetti from 6-9pm. To purchase tickets click here.)

An Evening in Eden will feature over 20 of Chicago’s premier vendors.  This event will be a great way for brides and industry professionals to check out the latest wedding and event trends, while sipping on cocktails and sampling hors d’oeuvres!  One of the amazing vendors we’ll showcase is RBombshell Beauty, Inc.

The lovely ladies of RBombshell Beauty, Inc., Rosie Scianna (makeup artist) and Robyn Tornabeni (hair stylist), work together to create stunning fashion-forward looks!  Their work has been featured in Bride’s Magazine, on numerous catwalks for Vera Wang and Belle Vie Bridal Couture fashion shows, and on bride’s across Chicago!

After checking out the incredible work these talented ladies create, we were dying to ask them some questions!!  Read more about how they stay inspired and ahead of the curve as well as who their dream celebrity brides are!

With so many weddings, how do you manage to stay inspired?

Rosie– Doing makeup is what I was born to do, literally! I stay inspired because making brides and their bridal parties look and feel beautiful, makes me feel really good to be a specialized wedding makeup artist. I know I’m doing something great when a bride chooses me and trusts me with such an important and amazing day of her life that she will never forget! Being a bride myself last year, I relate to the bride on an even more emotional level.

Robyn– First of all, I absolutely love what I do as does my business partner, Rosie. As a team, my hairstyling perfectly complements her makeup artistry and our passion for our craft shows. As a hairstylist, I stay inspired by looking at fashion, media and pictures of anything glamorous, past or present. As a wedding hairstylist, I stay inspired by taking into consideration the brides wishes for her big day, the look of her dress, the tone of her wedding and the fact that it is my responsibility to make her the “celebrity” of the day! I feel very privileged each and every time someone asks me to be the hairstylist for her wedding. I take it very seriously and want to create her vision.

Do you have a dream celebrity bride?

Rosie– Can I name 2? Charlize Theron and Kim Kardashian. They’re gorgeous!!!! So my makeup would look that more amazing!!! I would still do their makeup elegant and beautiful but I would definitely glam up their makeup a lot more than my brides allow me to now.

Robyn– I have two celebrity brides, each for a different reason. First, I would choose Megan Fox for aesthetic reasons…her exquisite beauty. She has amazing hair and a beautiful face to compliment whatever gorgeous hairstyle she would want! Secondly, I would choose Lady Gaga so that I could totally express my creativity and do something that I would not normally get to do in an every day situation. As celebrity hairstylist Oribe said while I trained with him in April, “you do pretty hair everyday….I want to see outrageous” and Lady Gaga would probably want outrageous.
