Blissfully Wonderfully Raising Our Glasses for a Great Cause….

The Blissful Wishes Ball took place on Monday, November 1 at the Knickerbocker Hotel in downtown Chicago, and WHAT a party it was! It was SO exciting to have the event sell out just days before the event…and only got better from there! See below for some of my favorite photos…it was so hard to choose!

It was so generous of Dana Kozlov from CBS2 Chicago and Dan Bernstein from The Score to serve as our co-emcees and hosts for the evening! They were both so heart felt and really made the evening THAT much more special…

This Blissful Wishes Ball was a gala celebration to benefit Wish Upon a Wedding, Chicago, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide weddings & vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and other serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation  (Click HERE to learn more about Wish Upon a Wedding) .  By giving the gifts of dream weddings & vow renewals, Wish Upon a Wedding is able to grant some of the most intimate and heartfelt wishes of these people’s lives, and help them share this important day with close family members.  A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Wish Upon a Wedding, Chicago, and its mission.

Guests were able to  join the celebration by purchasing $100.00 tickets or a $1000.00 table for ten guests.  Each option included a three-course sit-down dinner, open bar, dessert provided by Sarah’s Pastries and Katherine Anne Confections…

Guests danced the night away courtesy of the FABULOUS entertainment provided by the Larry King Orchestra!

Guests also had the chance to experience the FUN of Shutterbooth’s photo booth (click here to see pics from that night in the booth!)…Photos were graciously taken by Gerber & Scarpelli Photography (click here to see some!), and video was provided  by I DO Films (you MUST click here to see the video! It is SUCH fun!).

My hat is tipped, My glass is raised and my heart is full of  joy for ALL of you that supported, donated, attended, volunteered and loved our blissful wishes ball! I have never so much enjoyed the privilege and honor of being a part of something so worthwhile, and was truly touched at all of my very dear loved ones who were in attendance….The board of directors for Wish Upon a Wedding Chicago is a group of truly selfless, heartfelt, TALENTED individuals..I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something that reminds me there is more to life then stressing about the amount of weddings we have on the calendar, and whether or not my busy schedule can accommodate everything I need it to…

The priceless gift that I take from this opportunity is to remember that life is about love and bliss, and stopping to smell the roses…for that I am truly grateful…

I  cannot WAIT to see ALL of you there NEXT year!
