What’s Happening Now!

It is amazing to me that every time I sit down to write a blog I tell myself, OK, Let’s try to do one of these a week and POOF! Just like THAT 3 weeks go by! My how time is FLYING… Between weddings, events, horse showing and living life – time just flies when we are having so much fun! So, the team at MDE thought we would take a moment and let you know what has been going on with us…

After a whirlwind of planning, the Wish Upon a Wedding – Chicago Chapter gala was a huge success – what a great feeling that was! We are so thrilled to be a part of such a worthwhile cause.

Once we caught our breath, we realized we were heading full steam into November and holiday party season! We are very excited to be working on some fun holiday events, some for some great private clients and some a little more public – and international!  NOI Firenze is NOT only  a fabulous international client (who I LOVE to visit on my frequent trips back to Italy), they are like family.  My family is of italian descent and comes from a small Tuscan town, Lucca, about 45 minutes or so outside of Florence, Italy, where I lived for several years in my early 20’s. I have known Sam and Nino of NOI Firenze for over 10 years – and ONLY get my leather from them!

Every year MDE hosts an exclusive cocktail party during NOI’s week long stay, including cocktails, hor d’oeuvres and of course, exclusive access to the delightfully charming NOI team and their gorgeous collections! Direct from Florence, Italy, the fine leather wear of NOI Firenze along with The Vettori Jewelry designs of Sada Gold and Trade Gold will showcase their new Italian designs during an exclusive Chicago trunk show Wednesday, December 8 through Sunday, December 12, 10 a.m. -7 p.m. daily, at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel (17 E. Monroe St., Ste. 9150).

Based in historic Florence, Italy in the exquisite region of Tuscany, these designers bring their creations to the United States while showcasing their craftsmanship and design expertise. NOI Firenze stops in Chicago as a part of the three-city tour also including New York City and Beverly Hills. They will introduce the Spring 2011 and Winter 2011 collections, as well as classic quality favorites for both men and women at the Chicago trunk shows.
