Heather and Mark had a truly memorable wedding day at A New Leaf on May 21! The venue was the perfect setting for a romantic evening as it offers a rare combination of a beautiful outdoor courtyard with an award-winning multi-level interior of exposed brick, “suspended” concrete staircases and modern metalwork throughout. A New Leaf is truly a unique place to hold an event as it stands out from many of the rivaling contemporary venues in the Chicagoland area. Romance filled the air, as well as, the savory scent of the delicious buffet  provided by Phil Stefani Signature Events buffet, which was complemented by a style of open seating, where the guests had their freedom to intersperse with many guests.

Heather and Mark’s wedding included many fun and personal details. Firstly, Heather carried Scottish Heather in her bouquet and also had a bagpiper to honor her Scottish heritage. With Heather’s family coming from Chardon, Ohio it was really important to her that her Chicago wedding had elements of her home town. Brought in as wedding favors were Chardon’s famous maple candies from Richard’s Maple Products. Additionally, Heather requested Kilwin’s Blue Moon Ice Cream to be served with the wedding cake. Other fun menu items by Phil Stefani Signature Events included a late night passing of sliders and fries.
