Ellen and Jon’s Wedding- June 2, 2012

We absolutely loved Ellen and Jon’s stylish wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center this past June! This fun couple had so many different traditions and details mixed into their special day to celebrate both the bride & groom’s heritage.

Ellen and her bridesmaids got ready in a suite at the Trump International Tower and after getting glamorous she met her groom for their first look in the most romantic spot, Trump’s Terrace, overlooking the Chicago River. Following the first look, Ellen & Jon along with their bridal party, traveled to some of Chicago’s best landmarks for their bridal party photos with the talented photographers at Studio Starling.

The ceremony took place in the Preston Bradley Hall under the spectacular Tiffany stained glass ceiling. Automated Lighting Design (ALD Shows) out did themselves once again with the beautiful design of the custom Chuppah and warm uplighting.

Cocktail hour took place in GAR Hall and guests were delighted with the beautiful Manzanita branch which displayed one single escort card for the new Mr. & Mrs. Jon Sfondilis.

The reception, which also took place in Preston Bradley Hall, was warm and welcoming. Guests enjoyed scenic views of Millenium Park and danced the night away to the musical sounds by Style Matter DJ’s.

The floral and decor really celebrated the couples’ quirky, whimsical taste. The beautiful arrangements, which really enhanced the beauty of the Cultural Center, were designed by Fleur.

A custom cake topper (complete with the groom’s ponytail!), bride and groom stir sticks, and a Frango Mint Pie for dessert, incorporated the bride & groom’s fun style!

.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jon and Ellen and we wish them nothing but the best in years to come!
