Carolina Herrera has put the extra touch on wedding dresses – now including a monogram! Sterling is obsessed with monograms, and about fell over when she saw this on the pages of Town and Country! Of course, since it is Caroline Herrera, the monogram is subtle, but adds a special element to a gown that we just love!

The-morning-suit-1As we are sure you have noticed by now, everything the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do is immediately fashionable, but we are loving the reemergence of the morning suit! The most formal option for daytime wear, the morning suit includes a cutaway morning cut, in black or gray, waistcoat and striped trousers. Grooms are even going as far as creating their own, custom morning suit, which can be a process of three months and seven fittings! We like that gentlemen are getting more into their wedding day wear, we certainly know the ladies do!

Do you have a favorite scent? The smell of your mother’s cookies in the oven? Pine trees in winter? The barn (in Sterling and Michelle’s case)? Well a  company called 12.29 is harnessing the power of scent into olfactive branding, essentially creating scent logos for companies such as the Thompson Hotel and Prabal Gurung. They have now parlayed this “scent branding” into the wedding business, meaning you can have your own signature scent diffused throughout your wedding, adding a subtle layer of detail. The company then creates a candle of your signature scent, which can be burned to invoke the memory of your day, much like eating your wedding cake on your first anniversary!
