Olivia Palermo’s effortless two piece wedding gown

July 10, 2014
Olivia Palermo and her hubby look dapper on their wedding day!

Hats off to Olivia Palermo for pulling off this super trendy and beautifully effortless two piece wedding gown! On June 28, Palermo wed her long time love, model Johannes Huebl, in a Carolina Herrera designed gown. The gown included a beautiful tulle skirt, which had chic white shorts underneath the tulle overlay. Floral details lined the hem of the skirt and followed the romantic high slit to the front of the skirt. Palermo wore a soft cashmere cream sweater as the top of her gown. In great wedding tradition, Palermo included her “something blue” as her navy blue Monolo Blahnik heels. This modern look is beyond beautiful and a perfect option for simple, elegant wedding!

Palermo and Herrera’s look has inspired us to do our own research and find other two piece looks that will make you feel like Olivia Palermo herself on your wedding day!

Herrerra’s designs have been described by the New York Times as “elegant and wordly without ever being fussy.” This could not be more true for her Palermo gown! First Ladies such as, Jacqueline Onassis and Michelle Obama, have loved the Venezuelan-American designer’s style as well. Her style is nothing but classic chic and is a perfect look for any bride.
