Michelle selected as a Dynamic Woman by Modern Luxury!
Earlier this year I had the pleasure and privilege of being selected by Modern Luxury as one of their inaugural Dynamic Women to be featured in a new section in the May issue of Chicago Social magazine. On a 35 degree but beautifully sunny day in April I was at the Gwen Hotel on their gorgeous balcony in the presidential suite, with Aga Kasciewicz and Juan Jose Herrera close behind (trust me, good hair and makeup are a MUST at all times, but especially when you move between wedding production, equestrian competition and restaurant management at the speed of light as often as I do!). I had just arrived home from some time spent down in Florida competing with my horses (and marrying my husband, Collin, more to come on that very soon!) and was scheduled for the shoot I believe about 3 days after getting home.
It was such a spectacular day. From the hair + makeup to Mary Carol Fitzgerald who is a super talented photographer, I felt comfortable and confident in my Escada dress and my opening ceremony shoes! Once summer became a reality in Chicago, the magazine hosted all of the women featured along with friends and other fabulous chicagoans to attend a gorgeous rooftop cocktail party at the Gwen. This hotel has some absolutely fantastic views, not to mention a tent, on the balcony – that you can GLAMP in!!! Seriously, read more here.
The views were stunning, the cocktails delicious, and the company was marvelous. We were also given the privilege of wearing Buccellati pieces to the party which was an absolute dream come true! Gilded details to top off a perfect evening celebrating a designation I was so happy to receive. Thank you Modern Luxury! And congrats to all of my fellow dynamic honorees!
