Emily & Cory: A Wedding On The Water

It was so much fun getting to work with Emily and Cory on their special day! They had the pleasure of being the first wedding (and event, ever) to open up RPM On The Water, and it did not disappoint. With the help of Revel, the ballroom was set up with a stunning suspended chuppah in the middle of the room, while overlooking the scenic Chicago River. By reception time, the ballroom completely transformed and beautifully captured the elegant and chic style that Emily and Cory embodied throughout the whole planning process.

The moment guests walked in the door, they were greeted by a welcome sign of floral encased in a personalized acrylic box, and it set the tone for how beautiful the rest of the night would be. The escort cards were surrounded by childhood photos of Emily and Cory, and the special romantic moments they have shared. Emily and Cory perfectly exemplified their sleek style through the black water goblets, simplistic floral centerpieces, and black edged chargers.

Cocktail hour was filled with lush displays of antipasto stations galore. From cocktail, guests were led into the reception space following a trio of horn players, meeting Emily and Cory on the dance floor. The energy from everyone attending remained high throughout the whole night, and it was clear how loved Emily and Cory are by everyone in the room.

Shoutout to Revel for pulling off such elegance and class in every corner of the space, and to Beatmix for keeping the guests spirits through the roof for the entirety of the night. This was such a great event to open up the space and we are so grateful to have been a part of it!
