A Modern Minimalist’s Dream Wedding

You can feel the electric love between Elle and Terrance as soon as you are in a room with them. The couple met in the midst of 2020 and excitedly confessed that they knew right away they were meant for each other. Not only could you feel their energy towards each other, you could feel it carried over into every aspect of their day.

The two had the honor of being married by Elle’s uncle at St. Alphonsus in Chicago. The contrast of the bold colors in the stunning church showcased the wedding’s soft color palette. Highlighting the monochromatic neutral bridesmaids dresses and romantic ivory bouquets.

After the ceremony, they made their way to Venue SIX10– located directly in front of Grant Park and the iconic Buckingham Fountain. A full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows gave the venue a fresh feel with all the natural light and provided a picturesque backdrop for the evening. Guests were dressed to impress at this black-tie event. Upon arrival, they were escorted to the top floor of the Michigan Ave. highrise to enjoy the cocktail reception, breathtaking views of the city and a sneak peak into dinner and dancing below.

The room felt romantic and modern. Centerpieces and decor consisted of a mix of petite ivory floral clusters accompanied by contemporary candelabras set on top of chic mauve linens. The couple added numerous warm touches to the sleek space, from their personalized champagne glasses, to the family wedding photos on the escort card table. They didn’t miss a beat.

The energy from family and friends matched the couple. It was electric. Guests were ecstatic to celebrate the newlyweds. Every single person had a smile on their face and, of course, the dance floor was packed all night long.
