Every time I think about Sarah + Garrett getting married in Hawaii, I pinch myself. Did it really happen? Was I really in gorgeous Hawaii for almost ten entire days!? And then it hits me – YES! Such an amazing experience! I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be a part of Sarah & Garret’s special day on the stunning island of Oahu in Hawaii! It was such a delight to work with some truly talented vendors, including Jeremy Lawson Photography, who snapped some great photos of this beautiful wedding! I loved working with Sarah + Garrett, and Sarah’s awesome mom too! Thanks to them for giving me such a great opportunity and experience! More to come on this wedding soon!
Of course the main focus of this trip was to produce this gorgeous wedding, but I was really fortunate to also have some free time where I got to do some pretty amazing things! Getting in to the shark cage was probably my favorite, but I also really enjoyed the few opportunities I had to go hiking and enjoy the view from the top of such a truly gorgeous island! I absolutely LOVED having dinner at the Moana Surfrider, a hotel that opened in 1901, and was designated as the “First Lady of Waikiki” in high society as the first true resort to rise on what quickly became the world’s most famous beach. My meal was to die for!
And of course – there were all of the beaches. Beaches upon beaches upon beaches. But now that it is November in Chicago I can’t help but think that there is no such thing as too much beach!
Special thanks to the brother of the bride, long time colleague and dear friend Ben Mahoney of Ben Mahoney productions for putting such a dream team of vendors together!
