DESTINATION WEDDING: MDE jet sets off to Hawaii for Sarah + Garrett’s wedding day!
We have had quite the summer so far – full of some really beautiful weddings, great events and an epic voyage to Hawaii for a destination wedding extraordinaire! It was about 18 months ago that our bride Sarah’s mom, came to meet with us to begin planning this beautiful day. Everything came together so beautifully, and we wanted to share a few of our favorite moments from the week spent in Hawaii! Heartfelt thanks to Ben Mahoney, of Ben Mahoney Productions for bringing us on board for this experience (the bride was his sister!), and of course heartfelt thanks and MUCH love to our beautiful bride Sarah, and her amazing Mom Marsha! Also thanks go out to Garrett, who was an absolutely delightful groom to work with!
Included in this post are a few photos from their engagement shoot, captured by the super talented Braxton Black of Jeremy Lawson Photography – as well as one from Garrett’s return home (above) from active duty, just weeks before the wedding (it brings tears to our eyes every time we see it!). On a very personal note – it was a truly amazing experience to travel to such a beautiful place with so many fellow Chicago wedding industry colleagues and friends to produce this week of amazing wedding events! Big shout out to Epoch Studio Salon, Evolve, and Okyne Media lab – check out the photo below to see just how big the team from Chicago was (in between working, we did have the pleasure of enjoying some of Hawaii’s most awesome and beautiful sights and experiences!)
The wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and for right now all we can preview is a snippet captured by Michelle on her cell phone, stay tuned for many more to come!
