Honored to Join WEDO 2025 as One of Eight Global Storytellers
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been invited to join an extraordinary group of just eight storytellers — and I’ll be the only one representing the United States — for WEDO 2025, taking place this October in Catania and Siracusa, Sicily.
Hosted by Sicily For Weddings, this multi-day experience brings together some of the most creative and passionate minds in the destination wedding industry. It’s designed to inspire collaboration, connection, and authentic dialogue between professionals who believe in the power of hospitality and storytelling to elevate events around the world.
I’ll be speaking on “The International Market and Dialogue Between Partners in the Same Territory,” exploring how meaningful collaboration between local and global professionals can create truly unforgettable experiences. Having spent years planning weddings and events across the U.S., Mexico, and Italy, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when cultural understanding, creativity, and shared values come together.
This opportunity feels even more special because I’ve had the joy of visiting Catania before — a city that immediately captured my heart. Gritty, magical, and steeped in history, Catania is full of soul. From the bustling fish market to the stunning Duomo and the vibrant streets alive with Sicilian charm, it’s a place that stays with you long after you leave. To return now, as part of this inspiring event, feels like a beautiful full-circle moment.
I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent both my Italian heritage and my experience as a destination wedding planner based in the U.S. I can’t wait to connect with so many talented peers, share insights, and celebrate the art of hospitality — Sicilian style.
