Joanna Pirszel

Event Consultant

Joanna is a Chicago native and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois. With over 5 years of experience in the venture capital and corporate valuation sectors, Joanna has advised hundreds of clients ranging from startups to multi-billion dollar enterprises.  

After her experience within the corporate world, Joanna decided to lean further into her passion for event planning and join MDE. Joanna is an integral part of the team as she provides a critical investment perspective, as well as strong financial planning and advisory to each client. 

Joanna is fluent in Polish, and visits the country often with her husband, as both of their families are from the Podhale region. She is an expert on the ins and outs of a traditional Polish wedding, through her experience with clients, and attending family weddings. 

Outside of MDE planning, Joanna enjoys traveling, visiting art galleries, practicing pilates, getting involved in the community, and searching for Chicago’s best spicy margarita.
