The message was created to support the region as it was recently devasted by intense flooding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are proud to have been a part of <a href=\"https:\/\/geneandgeorgetti.com\/2023\/05\/26\/the-emilia-romagna-dinner-series-at-gene-georgetti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gene &amp; Georgetti&#8217;s benefit dinner<\/a> to support those affected; proceeds directly support the farmers of this beloved region who have lost so much. The dinner kicked off the <em>Emilia-Romagna Dinner Series<\/em> presented by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagochefscook.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chicago Chefs Cook<\/a>; Gene &amp; Georgetti was joined by 14 other restaurants who also curated special dinners and\/or select menus in support of Emilia-Romagna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery actually welcomed 50 guests to their incredible dinner. Guests were treated to a curated 5-course meal by <a href=\"https:\/\/geneandgeorgetti.com\/gene-georgetti-head-chef-cristiano-bassani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Head Chef, Cristiano Bassani<\/a> along with award-winning Chefs Sarah Stegner and Genie Kwon.
