Grace & Michael have the sweetest romance and the most sophisticated of styles. It was such a pleasure to bring their spring wedding to life at the gorgeous (and historic!) Revel Motor Row space. Grace is a creative and visual person, and when we started talking design for her day it became clear early on that we were going to have a blast bringing this one to life! Velvet linens, rose quartz colors mixed with moodier jewel tones, a custom neon sign and olive trees were just a few of the details that layered into this look to create an overall vibe that was perfectly them and perfectly beautiful. One of my favorite elements for this day (besides the bride + groom of course!) was the escort card display.
“The people we couldn’t live without” was the quote that framed the list and it was such a great way to communicate to guests how loved they were, and how welcomed too.
The rose quartz, grey and ivory color palette paired oh so perfectly with pops of a darker, opulently romantic burgundy. The idea here was a little bit edgy and still a whole lot romantic. Grace was fearless in her selections of texture and color and it really made all the difference.
Complimented by mixed metals, a little bit of sequin and the coolest black flatware + taper candles (literally these gave me life), the palette, and overall design really started to become an entire vibe . ✨
Once greens were added with chandeliers aplenty there was this magical feeling. I remember at the sample I was so excited to see this design on the wedding day, and Grace and I were both so excited! Last, but hardly least Grace went for it with cool and meaningful details – like one oh so cool custom neon sign for the DJ booth, that will ultimately live in their home. When it all came together, we had one cool party for post-nuptial celebrations. And we could not have been happier for these two. ????
