Spring brought our first official wedding of the year and we were thrilled to kick off our 2022 season with Daniela & Vince’s wedding celebration. From the moment we began planning almost a year ago, Daniela had a vision for her day; romantic, laden with mindful detail and a very old world style.

When we sat down to discuss vision and design, it was clear that white roses, hydrangea and peonies were high on the list of floral to be included alongside a little shimmer and shades of nudes and taupe. Tall arrangements to mix with lows while table shapes also mixed to provide interest to what would become a very full ballroom (365 people to be exact!).

Music and entertainment were absolutely as important as decor and don’t even get me started on the food at this wedding! From a quartet of strings at the beautiful Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii for the ceremony to additional strings and even a saxophone collaborating with their DJ made for a really irresistible dance floor.

Food and beverage played a key role in the experience factor throughout the day, as it should! Like us, our bride’s family is in hospitality and knows good food. Pairing that with the beloved Italian heritage made for incredible antipasto stations including pulled mozzarella, a four course meal and a sweets table that set a record at almost 80 feet long! (And We have produced our fair share of awesome Italian-American weddings which are known for their never ending sweets table!).

The mindfully selected vendors really made Daniela’s vision come to life. Her (then) fiancé Vince, his wonderful parents and the bride’s parents were all lovingly involved in various elements of the planning making this a truly family affair. Each vendor really understood how important that element of the day was and there was a great energy throughout the day. Very special thanks to immensely talented Northern Greenhouses for bringing the ballroom to life in grand style and to Amanda Miller who is an extraordinary photographer, capturing the day from such a place of love AND talent!
