A Palm Beach Birthday to Remember: Celebrating in Style at The Colony Hotel

There’s just something about a layered table that speaks to my soul. And this one? A forever favorite.

Designing this celebration was extra special for me—because it was for my husband’s 40th birthday! When I get the chance to create something this personal, where the vision meets the moment just right, it reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

Palm Beach Colony Hotel Birthday

Set in the East Garden of the iconic Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, this dinner party was equal parts stylish, heartfelt, and just plain fun. The kind of celebration that feels lived-in and loved—not overly formal, but beautifully intentional.

The serpentine tables added instant flair and intimacy, creating little nooks and crannies that invited connection and conversation. Every curve was designed to make the space feel more alive, more inviting, and more us.

Plates on plates. Glassware that danced in the light. Layers of texture, custom menus, chic black taper candles, glowing gold lamps, tropical greens with rich floral moments—all building on each other to create an experience that felt immersive and unforgettable. And as the evening unfolded? The table only got better. That’s the dream, isn’t it?

And then there was the soundtrack—yacht rock all night long. Not just background music either—guests were singing, laughing, reminiscing. (And by guests, I absolutely mean me too!) The music became a surprise layer of the design—unexpected and such a vibe.

Of course, the food had to be just as thoughtful. Custom menus with curated courses, and yes, Gene & Georgetti steaks as the main event. The meal wasn’t just delicious—it was a full-on experience, designed with guest enjoyment in mind and executed to perfection. A celebration of great flavor, good company, and meaningful moments.

This party felt personal, elevated, and truly memorable. Handsome. Layered. Unexpected. And hands down, one of my favorite designs I’ve had the joy to bring to life.
