A Moment in Florence: Meet the Faces Behind the Magic

Recently, Michelle took a moment during a destination wedding trip to Italy to introduce the team behind the magic – each bringing their own style, heart, and story to the work we do.

Chris
A decade-long cornerstone of our destination events, Chris is a trusted right-hand wherever we travel beyond Chicago. He’s as reliable and talented as he is tall (as Michelle lovingly jokes), and you’ll often spot him supporting our events across the globe.

Raquel
From Italy, with warmth. Michelle and Raquel met on a conference bus in Tuscany, proving that even the most casual moments can spark incredible collaborations. Raquel brings invaluable local insight and connections to our Italian destination weddings.

Joy
The newest member of the MDE team—and already an integral part of it—Joy brings vibrant energy, cultural connection (her family is from Lucca, and she studied in Florence!), and a shared passion for weddings. She joined just a couple of months ago but feels like she’s been here for years.

Bridget
With over a year and a half on the team, Bridget is a cornerstone of our client experience. Alongside Joy, she represents MDE’s commitment to ensuring every client is supported, seen, and celebrated. Whether in Chicago or abroad, these two embody our hands-on, heart-forward approach.
