Last year, we at Michelle Durpetti Events had the absolute pleasure of creating a spectacular welcome party for Gena and Fitz at Hacienda Siesta Alegre, setting the tone for an incredible wedding weekend in Puerto Rico.

The evening began with an intimate dinner under the soft glow of twinkle lights, reserved for immediate family and the bridal party. Guests were welcomed with signature cocktails, fresh coconuts hand-branded with the bride and groom’s initials, a beautiful touch that immediately brought a sense of personalization and island charm.
As guests sipped and settled in, a live guitarist filled the air with soulful music, creating a relaxed, elegant vibe perfect for the earlier portion of the evening. Local flavors took center stage with a traditional Puerto Rican pig roast, celebrating the island’s rich culinary traditions and giving family members and closest friends a first taste of the authentic, joyful spirit that would define the weekend.
As the Party Grew, So Did the Energy
Later in the evening, additional guests arrived, transported to the hacienda, where they were greeted with more libations, the soft sparkle of twinkle lights, and the vibrant energy that only Puerto Rico can provide.
The atmosphere shifted seamlessly from intimate to electric, with laughter echoing across the open-air courtyard and the dance floor coming alive under the stars.
