And after spending five immersive days in Rome, I can confidently say that this city continues to redefine itself in the most spectacular ways.

RISE Rome brought together some of the best in the industry—venues, caterers, DMC companies, and experience creators dedicated to crafting exceptional events. A huge thank you to Dominique and the True Team for including me in such a dynamic, insightful experience. I had the privilege of meeting talented travel advisors and wedding planners who share my passion for curating unforgettable celebrations.

From historic hotels to contemporary luxury venues, I explored some of the most breathtaking spaces for weddings in Rome. Each venue had its own unique charm, whether it was a rooftop with sweeping views of the city, a centuries-old palazzo with grand ballrooms, or an intimate villa tucked away in the hills. Understanding the flow of these spaces firsthand is critical in crafting events that feel seamless, immersive, and truly reflective of the couple’s story.

But beyond the business of weddings, there was also the pure magic of being in Rome. We walked like kings (and queens!) through the Porta Santa, wandered the charming streets of Trastevere, visited old friends and made new ones, and indulged in some of the city’s finest experiences—including personal shopping at Fendi and Bulgari.

And of course, one of the highlights was sharing this experience with my husband, Collin, who captured Rome through his own lens. Seeing the city from his perspective added even more depth to an already unforgettable trip.
