Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week: The Spring/Summer 2024 Recap

Each spring, designers from all over the world flock to several locations to present their newest collections in bridal fashion. First there is New York, Milan, and then Barcelona. Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is arguably one of the most exciting of the bridal fashion weeks, obviously for the beautiful location and of course because some really fabulous designers present their collections there too. Over 21,000 people attended BBFW this year! It was very exciting and held some beautiful events throughout the four days.

From ballgowns to gloves, lace and texture to 3D, there were so many elements that I saw and loved. Designers are still bringing color to the forefront of bridal and I cannot get enough (I wore color at my own wedding which you can see here!). I loved seeing details like little bows and beading, and of course, all of the gorgeous lace — seeing this many gowns in such a short time sends the senses into a delightful overdrive!

Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is always an absolute dream, full of gorgeous gowns, wonderful friends, spectacular conversations (in three languages) and time spent with industry colleagues and just the right amount of culture followed up by fabulous dinners and events with friends.
