A Tropical Dream: Gena & Fitz’s Enchanted Wedding in Puerto Rico

We recently had the privilege of orchestrating a wedding that was nothing short of magical for Gena and Fitz, beginning with a celebration set against the lush backdrop of a rainforest hacienda for their rehearsal dinner + welcome party in Puerto Rico. This celebration was infused with the vibrant spirit of the island, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with the island’s own invention, the piña colada, setting a festive tone right from the start. The sounds of a strumming guitar filled the air, complementing the traditional pig roast that awaited them. This authentic Puerto Rican welcome not only delighted the senses but also connected everyone to the rich culture of this incredibly warm, welcoming and storied island.
As the evening progressed, the atmosphere turned electric with fire dancers lighting up the dance floor, ensuring it remained “en fuego” throughout the night (see what we did there 🔥🔥).
The love we have for Gena and Fitz as a couple is immense, and watching their wedding week come together with such flair and fun was a true highlight. The vendor team for this event was phenomenal, each bringing their unique touch to make the day spectacular. The stunning floral designs by Akua Events Design added to the beauty of the setting, while Food Design provided exquisite catering that was both a feast for the eyes and the palate. Entertainment by Sak Entertainment kept the energy high and the spirits joyful, and the seamless transportation by Group Services ensured that everything ran like clockwork. Behind-the-scenes magic was captured by Christian J Gonzale, who documented all the unseen moments that made the day unique.
