As an event planner for Michelle Durpetti Events, Jessica is an incredibly valuable part of our team. She loves to learn everything about the wedding and special event planning industry, and is super passionate about everything that she does.
Her calling for event planning stemmed from a young age with movie nights, bake sales, and even helping create her grade school’s first Talent Show in 2009 which has been an annual event ever since! We tell her all the time that she should have known then that the little girl who organized an event to show off juggling, singing, and even some karate moves would become an event planner one day.
In December of 2019, she graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management emphasizing conference and event management. During college, she helped plan major softball tournaments, an Alzheimer’s gala, large banquets, and more.
Jessica is so dedicated to her work, and her colleagues really matter to her. Like Michelle, Nicole and Chris, Jessica is a part of Turnkey Hospitality in several ways; she is a junior planner here at MDE, and she is also an integral force behind the beautiful weddings & events that happen at our venue, The Estate. Additionally, she manages all of the private dining events at our Rosemont location of Gene & Georgetti.
Creative, funny, and a voracious learner, Jessica loves to learn about her clients and work with them to create personal, meaningful events. From baby showers to bar mitzvahs to weddings to galas, Jessica loves to bring it all to life!
Her time at The Estate has given her incredibly fine-tuned knowledge on front & back of house operations such as catering, room flips, kitchen logistics and more, providing the MDE team with an incredibly unique group of skill sets and people.
