Havana Nights at the Field Museum

September 20, 2021

We woke up this morning feeling so exhausted and so fulfilled! We were so happy to bring Christina + Colin’s incredibly beautiful wedding to life this past weekend at the iconic Field Museum of Chicago. Their sunset ceremony took place with the lakefront as their backdrop followed by cocktails at dusk outside as well. The day could not have been more gorgeous, and the perfect end of summer warmth from the sun paired with a breeze from the lake.

As guests moved inside, they were treated to a joyful celebration of color, texture and love that were a nod to the bride’s Cuban heritage. Gilded palms and bright blooms graced the tables that were a mix of shapes, colors and delights for guests as they sat down. Latin beats inspired by Havana nights all nestled in the incredible setting of the museum. To keep it intimate, warm lighting was strategically placed on columns and archways and a few of the museum’s most beloved residents!

Working with such incredible creatives really made this experience all the more magical and I cannot thank Natalie Walsh enough for taking this sweet couple’s colorful vision and giving it life! I am sharing just a few sneak peeks of them for now – more to come from this fabulous fete!
