Sneak Peek: Britley + Peter at Beatnik Chicago
How incredible is it when a client wants to think way outside of the norm for their wedding reception? Let me just tell you – it is next-level incredible and super, duper awesome. In fact, these are some of my favorite clients!
When a client dreams a dream that is in a faraway place or wants to stay in their own home, the details are what can make a wedding and event go right outta the ballpark. Peter + Britley did just that with every decision that they made and it was such a joy to work with them!
From the word go, they knew they wanted a smaller guest count, great food and something really experiential for their loved ones on their wedding day. These two have an absolute effortless love and great style, so I had Beatnik Chicago in my mind from the very moment we discussed a “super chic dinner party with dancing” because there is nothing quite like it here in Chicago. Each and every item that you see in the restaurant has a story and a history. From the chandeliers to the plants to the facade of a home from Fiji (which runs along the longest wall in the restaurant!) This is one gorgeously curated collection of unique items that come together to give a vibe that was giving me lifeeeeee, lol.
After that, we discussed their willingness to embrace opulence in the space and bring in even more color and from there the lushest, gorgeous floral came to life courtesy of Renee at Kehoe Designs. It was a pleasure to work with the amazing vendors we brought together for this couple. And it was an absolute career highlight to work with the immensely talented and incredibly awesome Aesthtiica Photography!!
