Laura & Nate’s Wedding – July 3, 2011

Laura and Nate’s wedding was vibrant, colorful, and full of life, just like their chosen venue, CARNIVALE.

The downtown restaurant features authentic Latino cuisine — flavored with the spice of life! A vast array of dishes were served at the wedding, with delicacies from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Columbia, Peru, Argentina, El Salvador, and Mexico — it was impossible to leave without feeling as though you spent the evening in South America. Aside from the delicious eats, the kaleidoscope of bright colors, salsa music, and playful decor further ignited the sense of being in a Latin house party off the Atlantic Coast. Laura and Nate made sure guests got right into the latin groove immediately upon arrival with raspberry mojitos!

The ceremony took place in the main dining room at Carnivale. The music for the precessional was provided by J. Austin Wulliman’s String Quartet, who played beautifully as the bridal party made it down the aisle.

The floral elements were provided by StemLine Creative and streamlined with the lively spirit of the venue. Laura and Nate catered in all of their desserts from Vanille and MORE Cupcakes. Their sweets table sparkled and featured everything from Vanille’s Macaroons (raspberry, vanilla bean, pistachio, chocolate covered orange peel, and lemon) to Bruleed Passion Fruit Tarts, Mini Chocolate Tarts, Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Brownie Bites, Waffle Cones dipped in chocolate and filled with different flavored mousses to various assorted MOREsels with flavors ranging from chocolate hazelnut, cookies and cream, red velvet, chocolate vanilla cream, passion passion passion, to salted caramel and strawberry. They were AMAZING!

Laura and Nate celebrated their union with friends and family until the wee hours of the morning. This crowd did not want to stop, but who would with Spoken Four providing all of the entertainment for the night? Not only was this band memorable, but Spoken Four was engaging, dynamic and fun! The MC, Domingo, had fabulous enthusiasm, which energized the dance floor with all of Laura and Nate’s wonderful guests. The seamless transitioning between songs was spot on, keeping everyone on the dance floor till the very end.

Congratulations Laura and Nate! We loved working with you and your families. It was a pleasure to be a part of your special day. Wishing you both all of the best.
